How to travel to Provender, on Windermere Island, Eleuthera
International flights from all over the world land at Lynden Pindling International Airport in Nassau, otherwise known as Nassau International Airport.
From Nassau airport, you will need to book a 30-minute onward flight to Eleuthera. There are three airports on Eleuthera (North Eleuthera ELH, Governor's Harbor GHB and Rock Sound RSD).
The house is a 30/40 minute drive from RSD and GHB and 90 minutes from ELH. Car hire is available from all airports.
By sea, take Bahamas Fast Ferries from Nassau to Governor’s Harbour. This takes up to four hours.


To get to Provender from the US
If you are flying from the US, there are regular scheduled flights from Fort Lauderdale and Miami directly to Rock Sound or Governor's Harbour airports on Eleuthera. Alternatively, fly into Lynden Pindling International Airport in Nassau and take a short onward flight to Rock Sound or Governor's Harbour on Eleuthera. It is a longer drive to get to Provender from North Eleuthera airport.

To get to Provender from Europe

Fly into Lynden Pindling International Airport in Nassau and take a short onward flight to Rock Sound or Governor's Harbour on Eleuthera. Alternatively it's sometimes more economical to fly into Miami or Fort Lauderdale airports and fly on from there to Rock Sound or Governor's Harbour on Eleuthera. This sometimes means you have to stay overnight in Florida.
